Small Business Saturday…Join The Movement

We know that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are holy days for major businesses and online retailers, but small businesses get what? In the past they got nothing. Well, small businesses, don’t despair—you have a day of your very own now.

Smack between Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes Small Business Saturday on 11/26/2011.

Small Business Saturday began in 2010, and despite being a holiday created and promoted by American Express, there is some real social media momentum with this, and you’ll be smart to join the movement here.

There is one major concept to grasp here, this campaign is about American values more than it is American Express.

Give the people what they want and they will return for more. And in our opinion, that means quality products & services, fair pricing and most importantly great customer service!

Stephanie Meeks, President of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, notes that:

“When we invest in small businesses, we are investing in places that give our towns and cities a unique sense of place… By celebrating Small Business Saturday and shopping at independent businesses, everyone can play a part in strengthening our economy and supporting revitalization on our Main Streets.”

Be sure to share this with your friends on Facebook and help the revolution of the small business moving forward.

Enjoy the new holiday and happy shopping!
