Janet Chiauzzi: Caring Parent or Psychopath?

Janet Chiauzzi was your ordinary suburban parent who went off the deep end.  What drove her there you ask?  Her poor baby boy did not make the East Meadow Little League travel team.  Her rational response to this was to send threatening letters to the league, the manager, and his family. Even more insane was her decision to call the school where one of the league officials children attend and told the principal he was sexually abusing them.  Bitches be crazy.

Chiauzzi was arrested on Saturday night.  I guess she did not think this out too well because what she did is not legal and she has become a laughing stock and major embarrassment to her entire family.  I feel bad for her husband.  This has to be grounds for divorce.  It’s not good for her children either.  I wouldn’t want to be known as the kid with the crazy mom who got arrested for threatening to kill the coach and his family.  That stuff follows you your entire life, and kids are cruel (although they might be scared Janet might come after them.)

Here are some parts of the letters written:

This was in a letter sent directly to the manager-

“if the board doesn’t pursue any action against you, I’m personally making it my goal to make sure and your family suffers dearly. You will be rotting in hell soon. I will make it happen.”

This was in the letter sent directly to the 11-year-old boy and son of the coach at their home-

“Tell your stupid father to back away from the East Meadow baseball team or he will be sorry. There are other things in life than baseball and if he wants to enjoy them he will get out of East Meadow baseball for good. Accidents happen and I would hate to see something happen to your mom or dad or sister because of your dad’s stupidity… think about it, if something terrible happens to your dad or mom or sister you can blame your dad for not taking my threat seriously.  He will be harmed and the outcome will not be good for you. You might never see your dad again. You all better watch your f-ing backs.  This is no joke.  This is as real as it gets.”

This woman needs a lot of therapy.  I like how she wrote there are other things in life than baseball.  Someone should tell her that.  This woman has some series issues and needs to go see Dr. Phil or someone who can help her because things like this are not normal.

Coaching little league baseball is becoming a more pressurized job than coaching the New York Yankees.  My father used to coach little league and although his life was never threatened, he dealt with crazy parents all the time.  The problem with these moron parents is they think their kids are much better than they really are.  It is one thing to love your child, but it is another to think they are the next Alex Rodriguez.  The reason why your kid did not make the travel team is because he wasn’t good enough.  Deal with it, psycho.

To add some humor to the story, I work with someone who knows Chiauzzi.  He said she is mild mannered and very nice, but had to have just lost it.  You think?  He also said Janet used to take his son to the beach because he was friends with her older son.  Luckily for the guy I work with, he was not a little league coach and Chiauzzi never threatened to drown his son.
